We first knew Mei as our property manager for a townhome we were renting in Sunnyvale. She stood out as a person who treated us with a great deal of respect and was very responsive to our questions and issues. Purchasing a place in a market like Bay Area can be overwhelming effort, even in the big-data-internet enabled real-estate market where all the data is available to us on our phones. Kevin is a consummate professional who can not only do the chores of a real-estate purchase/sale deal but he also provides and emphasizes information that we are either not likely to pay attention or not likely to gather from the myriad of online sources, such as the development plans and their potential impact on the neighborhoods under consideration and other secular trends in the market. One of the things that impressed me was that once we had given the details of our needs and priorities, he not only gave us the list of neighborhoods and listed places to consider but he also had a strategy to suggest. His law background in an additional plus, this enables him to give you detailed information about the legal technicalities involved in contracts, HOAs etc in a very accessible form. Speaking of which, I must add here, he provided us excellent summaries of the disclosures for the places we asked him to review. Aside from that he has a good network with lenders (in many different banks), contractors, other realtors and amongst the sales teams of new construction projects here. This can be tremendously useful, if you need help figuring out a lender or if you need a contractor to do upgrades in your place. Therefore practically he can provide you a vertically integrated real-estate service. I was referred to Kevin by my sister, who used him for the sale of her Mountain View home.
